Think of the person you wish to be like, the person you absolutely think is perfect, can do no wrong, and has no imperfections. Would it be hard to believe that they struggle with a few insecurities? Everyone has something they're insecure about, and some people have different abilities to live through them.
Here are a few tips that have/do help me.
Established Internal Validation
Seeking external validation is key in establishing how we feel about ourselves—giving someone else that power takes away the "self-love" aspect. Social media has a definite role in the way we view ourselves.
This is way easier said than done because it is so ingrained in our culture that we have a hard time removing the actual from the digital.
But do things that genuinely make you happy, not because you think it'll attract the desired crowd.

Do Not Compare Your Journey to Someone Else's
Know Your Limits
Saying bye to things you once let occupy your brain is a process, but remember to be committed to yourself. The 'you' tomorrow will thank you for your efforts today!
