I have been committed to mind and body healing for a little over a year. I would have never imagined how much it has changed my perspective on living. I've just ended a very toxic connection, and I needed to get back to myself for the way things ended. I was so depleted that I couldn't recognize myself when I looked in the mirror. I had no trust in myself to make simple decisions. My recommitment to healing my mind and body revealed answers I wasn't even searching for.
1. Appreciation of Life
By aligning movement with breathing, I focused solely on the present. I was able to walk away from my mat, ready to tackle whatever was on the other side of the door. I began taking life's experiences as gifts to reveal my higher purpose. Even when things are never seen in my desire, I take God's sign that there is something greater he has planned. There is a different kind of release when you do things with intent.

I would say yoga has saved my life. I am way more peaceful and appreciative of life in general. Though its physical fitness perks, I've found a sense of comfort and safety in this beautiful activity. I began my journey with Bright & Salted Yoga on YouTube, run by Arianna Elizabeth, and I would recommend anyone get into her video content.
